Indianapolis, IN – March 15, 2017. TagStation LLC and Nielsen (NYSE: NLSN) have reached an agreement to evaluate TagStation’s NextRadio data. The NextRadio app delivers over-the-air FM broadcasts to the consumer’s smartphone and captures precise data about a radio station’s listeners. TagStation and Nielsen will explore methods to incorporate NextRadio listening data into Nielsen’s audio datasets, potentially paving the way for future big data integrations for the radio industry.
NextRadio provides a rich digital and interactive experience for more than 16,000 FM stations. The NextRadio app has more than 11 million downloads from the Google Play Store and it is supported on nearly 100 mobile devices.
